Using Office XP; Just installed Adobe 6.0 Professional & the Adobe toolbar &
the buttons aren't there, or available to view in Word, however they are
there in all other Office applications. How do I get the toolbar & buttons
in my Word application?

1. Make sure there is a copy of the PDFMAKER.DOT file in the Office startup
folder. In my computer, the path for the Office startup folder is C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Startup, but it may be different in your
computer.
2. In Word, click on Tools | Macros | Security. If the macro security
level is set to High, then either enable "Trust all installed templates and
add-ins" (that is, if you know all installed templates and add-ins can be
trusted), or change the macro security level to Medium and allow the Adobe
macros to run when you start Word. Do not change the macro security level to
Low, because that setting allows all macros to run without warning, which
leaves Word vulnerable to macro viruses.
