Word 2003 after Adobe 8.1.2 upgrade

Lori

I just upgraded to Adobe 8.1.2. Originally encountered an error opening Word
2003 after the Adobe installation and had to open in safe mode. Deleted the
normal.dot file then all was well. Now I notice that in every office program
with the exception of Word that you can easily convert to a pdf file by the
little Adobe icon on the tool bar. However it does not appear on the toolbar
in Word nor is it listed under the tool bar option. It is a neat feature
that I use quite often.

Any suggestions?

If you are sure the toolbars are not merely turned off in view > toolbars.
Check Help > About Microsoft Word > Disabled Items.
