adobe to word

I have an adobe file and need to change it to a word document, but under File
- Save As - I do not have an option to choose Word. Is there any way to do
this?
 
If you have the *full* version of Acrobat you can do this, and it *may* even
create an editable document, but OCR software is rather more effective in
most cases.

Not if you don't have Acrobat, not just the free Reader. I'm talking about
the $300 program. Even then it's a bit iffy.

You can try a copy and paste but no guarantees.
