Adobe Reader Problem

When I try to open a PDF document, I get a message that says, "This file does
not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an
association in the Folder Options control panel. I am not sure why I am
getting this message because my Adobe Reader is fully updated.

Open My Computer or Explorer. Click on Tools | Folder Options | File
Types. Scroll to pdf files. Change the association to open with Adobe
Reader.

Hi Larry,

How are you opening the PDF attachment? (from OE mail attachment, or from
Windows Explorer / folder?). Also, post back the Service Pack level of your
system.

I am opening the pdf file from a folder most of the time. I work for a
company who keep pdf files in their website/system and when I try to open
them from their site, I get that message as well.

You know what, first I tried wihat Rock said and it seems to work, but what
he suggested was along the same lines as what you provided. Thank you for
your help. If it happens again, I'll try your link for sure.
