Greetings to all, my Adobe reader 6.0 has suddenly begun
crashing on my XP. It will initialize then suddenly
crash just as it comes up on the screen. I first thought
the problem was the reader itself, so I uninstalled the
program and deleted it from my computer, then downloaded
a new Adobe Reader 6.0 from the Adobe website and
installed it as usual. But, the same exact problem is
persisting. The Adobe Reader will initialize normally
(so it seems) then just drop(!) I have no clue what the
problem is (needs updated driver maybe?). If anyone knows
how to solve this problem, or has solved this problem for
themselves, Please Help. . . Thank you in advance for
your time, consideration and help in solving this
problem. Respectfully yours, Thomas D. Sleeva.

The problem *is* with Adobe. If you are suspicious of drivers, what
drivers in particular. Frankly, if drivers were bad they would affect
other programs and you don't report that.

Suggest you review the support information Adobe's web site. It's their
program.
