ADOBE READER 7.0

Can someone help me please, I am having trouble downloading PDF files,

I have tried to download Adobe Reader 7 but it keep telling me to close down
Adobo reader but as far as I can see it is not open,

Also when I tried to delete it from the Add/remove area it gives this message

"This patch package could not be opened, Verify that the patch package exits
and that you can access it , or contact the application vender to verify that
this ia a valid windows installer patch package""


The only place I get my downloads from are the internet so I am lost at the
moment can anyone help me

Look for a process called acroread, which may be hanging around in memory.

Adobe's forums may provide assistance or an FAQ.

Hi Mike,

thanks for your suggestions, tried them all but I still can not delete from
my machine, also when I go to the start and then programes and hit on the
Adobe icon it tells me itis installing then comes back up with the patch
thing again, any other suggestions.
