OT: Adobe Reader 9.1 available

R. McCarty

Adobe Systems has released an updated version of Reader (9.1).
This version addresses the security issue where a specially crafted
Portable Document File could expose a computer to being taken
over.

The full Version 9.1 installer is ~41.0 Megabytes or you can get
the update from the internal Help (Check for Updates) from within
a 9.0 install of Reader.

The full installer package will uninstall Ver 9.0.

*Be aware of the bundling of Google Toolbar and Adobe Air and
Adobe.Com in the installer package

Isn't that horrible. Version 6.1 is only 16MB. They get bulkier every
version don't they.

Also as alternatives I find PDFXviewer reproduces a PDF very well.
I've had about 4 different 3rd party viewers and found over the years
that a few odd docs don't view right on some readers. PDFX worked best
overall.
