When converting a microsoft word 2000 document to adobe acrobat 8.0 standard
I receive an error message
"The Acrobat PDFMaker Server could not be loaded. Do you want to run the
installer in repair mode?"

Has anyone seen this error before?

Yes - with Word 2007. Acrobat does not support Office 2007.

If you are really using Office 2000, then I would attempt to re-install or
re-configure Acrobat 8. If that still does not work for you, then you will
need to contact Acrobat Support, which is a PITA, I know, but that's the
best we can do for you in "Microsoft Land" <smile>
