Adobe Acrobat Reader

This is just my opinion, but I would advise against installing Adobe Acrobat
Reader 6 for a while. I replaced version 5 with version 6 and ran into
problems. In reading Adobe's forums, it seems that several others are having
problems too. It seems that Adobe doesn't have any answers as yet. I
uninstalled it and reinstalled version 5. Everything is O.K. now.

Milt, thanks for the info, I have noticed that it take much longer to
load also. I went back to Ver5 as well.

I agree. Adobe Reader 6 is quite the resource hog.

Adobe reader 6 working ok for me.

Hi. When Adobe Acrobat 6 first came out, Woody' Watch said you must
uninstall the previous version first ! AA6 didn't mention that in the
install instructions...Woody wrote the WinXP for Dummies

I am working on a new laptop, and Adobe Reader 6.0 went on first, then
Adobe Acrobat 4.0. Explains why no problems, I guess.
