Adobe Acrobat reader after installation?

After installing the SP2 update I encountered problems with opening PDF files
and forms that were connected/loaded in web sites. Every time I had to go to
manage add-ons, but I couldn't enable the Active X for adobe. I am the only
administrator on my computer (besides the one that is by default from Windows
in the safe mode). I removed the update, and now I can access any PDF file I
want. Could you please recommend a certain way to install the update, or
certain configuration for my computer so I'll be able to use it as always.
Thank you,
Marian Levi
