ADMT

On a test setup, I have created two different domains
(forest) with active directory configured on these
systems. DNS is also setup on the same domains. Created 3
users in both the domains. Now using ADMT tool I would
like to migrate the user from user wizard. In test run it
does ok but in actual run its failing. some times it gives
ERR2:7301 .... hr=80070005 eror. Even sid are not
migrating. any suggesstions?

Are you migrating accounts with the same netbios name in both the source
and target domains? ADMT will fail when you attempt to do that.

If that is not the case, make sure you have administrator rights to the
workstation and have configured ADMT per the following kb article:

It works the same way for a 2000 to 2000 migration so don't let the title
put you off.
