ADMT Unable to Copy Password

All,

I'm having problems using the Password Export Server in
ADMT 2.0 for a WIN2K/WIN2K Inter-Forest Migration.

I've done the following:
Established Trust between both Domains
Installed ADMT on Destination Domain
Generated PES Key
Installed Password Migration Tool on Source Domain
Made registry chnages included in the Readme
Rebooted Source Domain server
The account I'm using on the Destination Domain is a
member of the Administrators group on the Source Domain.

For every account I try to migrate, I get an error 7557
about "Unable to Copy Password".

Any suggestions?

Jeff,

Was there any more information in the error after "unable to copy
password". There is usually an error after that.

The error should looks like this:
Failed to copy the password for . A strong password has been generated
instead.

How many DCs in your source domain? Can you double check the steps
described in the following article?

If you still can not copy the password, can you post the migration.log?
