administrators account

Hi all,

Not sure if this goes here, but here goes nothing. I'm
working on a systemax computer running XP home version.
After booting the system up there are 4 user accounts, one
for mom and 3 for kids listed on the welcome screen. Is
there any way to tell if these users are administrators or
not? Also, I'm trying to install Norton AV and some
spyware software. Can anyone tell me how to log on as the
administrator? It's my understanding that an administrator
needs to do the install. When the welcome splash screen
appears there isn't an administrator account listed.
Please tell what I need to do to log on as the
administrator. Any help will be appreciated.

In Home Edition boot into Safe Mode when the Administrator log-in will
appear on the welcome screen. If your copy of XP was pre-installed it's
99.99% likely that the password will be blank (unless you know differently)
