Is there anyway to set up small network so that each
computer has access to all files on every other computer
(system and program files)? I am assuming it has
something to do with "Administrator" status but I don't
know thing one about it. Security is not an issue on
this network and I am also trying to do backup of certain
files on everyone's computer that I cannot access.

Please respond to (e-mail address removed)

Thank you

Yes, for the most part you can though there will probably be some specific
files locked for exclusive use.

It's actually a pretty easy task, though the details depend partly on
whether the disks are formatted FAT32 or NTFS. In either case, you need
accounts on all the machines that match the accounts used on the other
machines, you need to share the drives or folders, and if the file system
is NTFS you need to set the folder permissions to allow the access required.

Make a user account with Administrator rights on each machine with the
same name and password, turn off Simple File Sharing on each machine (My
Computer, Tools, Folder Options, View, scroll all the way down and
uncheck it) then share the hard drives.
