Administrator Rights

How can I tell if I have Administrator Rights in Windows
XP Home Edition, and if I don't, how can I give them to
myself? We are on a home network of two computers
sharing printers and access files from either computer.
Running 602Pro Lan Suite network. Thanks

If you have only one user on that computer then it has admin rights. There
has to be one user with admin rights in addition to the hidden administrator
account.
To check: start, control panel, user accounts.

Go to Control Panel>User Accounts. Select Change an Account and it will
show you what group
you belong to. If you want to change to Admin then just continue and
follow the instructions.

Fastest way is to right click on the start menu, if it
shows "open all users" or "explore all users" you have
Admin rights.
