Administrator rights

I have many user accounts in my company with less than
administrator rights but I still want MAS to scan during
the night and to download and install new defs. and
program updates, but I don't want to give the user more
rights. I even would like the updates and scheduled scans
to run regardless if the computers are logged on or not
just like symantec corporate.
Maybe I am missing something, any ideas?

Thanks

"You Can't Always Get' What You Wa' ant, but if you try some time, you just might find, you get what you Ne' e' eed" (See the XP
help and support entry on 'RunAs'. The standard XP solution for Limited User restrictions)

I would expect the final versions of both the new antispy, and the future anti-virus apps to run much like "Windows File protection"
does now.(on startup, and in advance of logon.)

I doubt the MS guys are going to break the Non-Disclosure Agreement(NDA) they all have to sign to work at MS, just to let us know
what's coming. The best you will get is an "under consideration, thanks for testing" kind of response. The enterprise version,
probably bundled with Server, will no doubt do everything you want.

Yes RunAs is good if you are actually there to run
everything manually, but I can't see how I can use that
combined with a scheduled update or a scheduled scan?
I do realize this is a beta.

This is definitely an area which Microsoft understands the current product
falls short in. They have stated that they are working on changing this
area, and they are reading the feedback in these groups. So--I have hopes
that these issues will be significantly improved from the current situation
by the end of the beta, but no specifics to offer.
