Administrator PW

I play quake 3 areana online. Or used to. I ran into this problem as of
recently.

I keep getting kicked from gameservers for "inadequete OS privaliges". That
means the program i'm using is not under admin.

When I right click and go to set it to run as admin, it wants a PW. I dont
know the PW. MY question is how do I find out that PW or change it?

Also, note im logged in as the owner, so It makes no sense. I have winXP
sp2.

Who set up your XP?

What version of XP? Home or Pro?

Have you tried a "blank" password?

What type of account is your "standard" account set up as?

A private company did. I thought it was all set. Its XP Pro. I bleieve
account is set up as owner. The thing is...my stuff always worked. Never
had this problem before...up until about three weeks ago. I have been trying
everything to get rid of it.

Hello? No one appears to be helpin. Basically anti cheat software is
kicking me from gaming servers for quake 3 areana, threewave. I am getting
kicked for "inadequete OS privilages". Im loggin computer as admin/owner.
This is a new problem , and is not the game. As I have deleted everything
and reinstalled it twice to eliminate that. Its in windows somehwere. A
lingering effect of a virus...messing with admin of my OS. Any Ideas wou ld
help. Although I am looking for quick fixes.
