Administrator password

I live in a share house. I bought XP home so that I could
set up multi users on my computer. I am the only person
that has administrator access/rights etc. Everyone else
has limited user status. Today one of the housemates
started my computer in safe mode. AT the top of the list
of users was a picture with the logon of *administrator*
next to it. Imagine my surprise when all he did was click
on the password area, hit enter and he was in. I *KNOW* I
am the only person that has administrator rights on this
computer so how did this happen? Should I be concerned?
If I have posted this to the wrong group, please point me
in the right direction. Thankyou

Windows XP Home is installed by default with an "Administrator" account
so know that nothing devious is happening. When you boot normally, the
Administrator is disabled. When you boot to safe mode it is re enabled.
To secure it, simply log into the Administrator account from safe mode,
as you mentioned, by clicking Administrator and no password. Go to
Control Panels/User Accounts, click Administrator and then click Create
a Password. Since XP Home is to be generally used in a Home environment,
certain policies are lax for easier administration. A good example would
be if you had all of your users set to Limited users except one and
forgot the password for the one Administrator account.
