Poor Tom
Hi,
I googled 'administrator password', but all returns concerned people who had
lost theirs, so hopefully someone here can help.
When i start Windows XP normally, just one account appears on the logon
screen - my name, as I would like it. But booting into safe-mode gives the
chance to log on as administrator, and this isn't protected. Furthermore, a
thief would then be able to boot into safe mode, log on as the adminstrator
and access all the files under my user. Two questions:
1. How do I set up the administrator password?
2. How do I protect my files from other users? I did this once but can't
remember.
Many thanks!
