administrator folder

Win XP Media OS, under Local Disk/documents and settings/ there is an
administrator folder then another folder with my name on it. all my
stuff-docs/pics/saved info goes to that folder not the administrator folder.
why? i am the administrator.

No you aren't. Your user account is part of the administrators' group - the
built in Administrator account is an entirely different thing.

You are a user with administrative authority. You are not "The Administrator".
Windows XP Home Edition has a hidden logon for "The Administrator" for safety and repair functions.
Do not attempt to remove this account.
You can logon as "The Administrator" only if you go to the "Safe Mode".
 
Thanks to all for the info....just making sure all was good....i've had no
problems doing admin setups/deletes and all other admin functions
thanks....now if i could just figure out why scannow sfc does not
complete...keeps asking for a cd which i don't have
