Administrator cannot access some files

Since my computer was going into standby automatically, I had to rebuild the
HP system using the computer recovery. Now -- as Administrator -- there are
some files which says I do not have access to them. However, I created
another "user" earlier, and this account was able to open those files. I
deleted that account -- saving the files onto the "Owner" -- which is the
Administrator. In this account -- as owner/administrator -- I still cannot
open the files. What do I do?
