Administrator called administrator

I am trying to share files on a home network. Each pc
can ping each other and see the other pc in network
places but the client can not access files on the host
due to permissions not being set. They are.

Somehow I find the only user on my pc is called
administrator. I'm guessing this is what is causing the
problem

Any ideas please

Setup an account on all machines with the same
username/password

Is the passwords bit necessary. At the moment I don't use
passwords at all
