Administrator access

Only one user (out of four) has access to software (Kazaa) installed on shared computer running XP Home. Kazaa tells me it's due to others not having adm. access, but all shown as adm on user profiles. Suggestions to remedy appreciated!

What exactly do you mean by "access"?

Do you mean that you can see the shortcut (under Start >
All Programs), but attempt to run the program and you get
an error?

Or, do you not see it there at all when logged in as the
other 3 users?

Incidentally, Kazaa comes bundled with spyware so you may
want to look into another program for p2p file sharing. Do
a Google search for "Kazaa Lite" to find a spyware-free
version of it. I'd also recommend installing Spybot S&D or
Lavasoft's AdAware to remove that spyware.

Also note that when installing Kazaa, you can choose to
limit access to a specific user and no others. You do
have to have admin right to install it that way, but
still other admin users wont be able to use the program.
Its a box you check when installing kazaa. If you did
that, just install and reinstall kazaa making sure you do
a custom install so you know what you are doing for each
user.
