Administrator access

Have a PC with XP home edition, cant see control panel
due to restrictions in effect. tried an F8 at boot to
login as administrator but dont know the password. other
than re imaging the hard drive with original Cd's from
OEM is there any other way to reset Admin pswd?
 
See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Windows XP Security Console. You can control this restriction, among many others, with this utility.
