Hi,

My users do not have administrative rights but a couple
of smart users have got around this and are installing
applications via command line? Is there a way to block
this? We only allow standard applications on the
desktops.
Please advise.
Thanks
Shani

So does this mean, users with non-administrative rights
can install applications on WinXP via command line?
Please advise. I will check out X-setup Pro. Thanks!

No, they should not be able to unless they know the administrator's password
in which case, they wouldn't need a command prompt, they could simply right
click the shortcut, select run as and use the admin's password. You might
want to check to see if they've figured out your password.
