I am running Windows XP on my machine. Recently, When I press
CTRL+ALT+DEL, I get the message 'The task manager has been disabled by
your administrator'. I am the administrator and also the only user on
the computer (however, I wasn't always the only user, but I have always
been the administrator). My first thought was that my machine was
infected by some kind of virus, spyware, or malware. I have McAfee
Enterprise 8.0i, Microsoft AntiSpyware-Beta, and have run Microsoft
Malicious Software Detection, and various other programs. After each
scan, I removed every infection detected. To my surprise, the problem
continues to persist. If you have any suggestions, please help me out.
