I recently installed Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Love it. However......

My USB external 500gig hard drive is giving me problems with the change over.

I try to access files and it states I need admin privilages.....I am the only user, I am an admin WTF!!
Whats the deal there microsoft, fix your crap!

So I go through and give every user it lists full control (owner, everyone, admin, user...)
Still no go

This is where I started to notice something a bit odd, there was a user named:
S-1-5-21-1409082233-(and a bunch of other numbers)

i found this to be the user that no longer exists from when it was on my system with Windows XP

So I changed owner permissions on the whole drive to the administrator.

Now I try to open a file and it states:
Could not complete your request because the file is locked.
Use the 'Properties' command in the windows explorer to unlock the file.

Heres the real ball buster.
The file is not locked, no option in properties, downloaded unlocker 1.9 as a solution......
installed it, ran it, used it on the file.....and unlocker states:
No locking handle found

WTF Microsoft I want access to everything on MY computer, stop treating people like babies, you dont own us.....yet.

Anyone encounter this issue or know of a solution? I have been googling the crap out of it and tried what I have read, but still no go.....
