admin password

hello, having problems when trying to repair win xp install
from cd, keeps asking me for admin password, i have never
set up a password, and have formatted the hard drive
several times, could it be my cd? or is there any way
around the password? any help will do.

Have you tried a blank password? I'm 99% sure that is the
default password for XP.
