Admin password

Someone, possibly an ex-employee, has changed the admin password on one of my
XP Pro machines. I just installed a new 2003 server and need to setup a new
account for a new employee. The account I do have a password for does not
have permission to create a new account. Is there a way to create a new admin
password without knowing the old one? I am trying to avoid wiping this thing
out and reinstalling Pro. Any ideas?

Use NTpasswd to change the Administrator password to a blank. Then log
into that account and change the password to something you will
remember.

After restoring the password with Malke's boot disk, plan
ahead and create a second admin account. It's like having
a car - you would never run it with a single set of keys!
