Does anyone know how I can recover or reset the admin password in Windows XP
Pro? This machine has three accounts, but the admin password is not known
and I cannot do anything (like uninstall programs) without loggin in as
Admin. Can anyone recommend a way iof finding out what the password is, or
resetting it? I assume I need a boot CD that does this for me? Any
suggestions?

Thanks

Try one of these CDs.

Offline NT Password & Registry Editor

Ultimate Boot CD for Windows®

Good luck

Have you tried the default Admin account in Safe Mode? By default it
has no password unless you added one. That is NOT the same Admin
account as your own or the one you see in normal mode.

Thanks for that too... I will check that one out when I get in front of the
system later on.
