might be getting tired !

XP home standard install during which I set up an additional
admin account

I now wish to do some work from the "Administrator" account
but cannot log in , I do npt recall being asked to provide a
password for teh "Administrator" account BUT !

I went to the backup admin account but the "Administrator"
account is not visible do I cannot change the password to
it.

Any advice to get the the account ?

Will an install over the top ask for this setup details
again and still retain all the other software config I have
?

thanks

Geoff

In Home, the default administrator account can only be accessed in Safe
Mode.

Thanks will try that - since it is in safe mode and I did
not set it it will be a "blank" password

Where is this advice given ? and would have to be a security
issue ? most (include me here) probably would not know this
so anyone who did would be able to access the OS at the
admin level
