Recently my drop-down menus, fly-out menus and pop-up menus started moving/opening real slow and I would like to get them back the way they were. Can some tell me what steps to take to resolve this issue
Thanks

That is usually due to being low on system resources. Have you checked what your System Idle Process reads in Task Manager when this happens? ctrl-alt-del | Task Manager | Processes | at the top.

Well if you ever find out please let us know. I have never heard of it. Thanks.

Are you refering to the "Transition Effects for Menus......." ? Control
Panel, Display, Effects, "Remove Check"

Or the default Menu Time delay of 400 milliseconds which can be adjusted
in the registry either manually or I think with TweakUI.

Under the Desktop key it's the entry
"MenuShowDelay"
