Address not filled in on Envelopes and Labels

Every version of Word I have used has always filled in the Envelopes and Labels from the document. If you put the address to the far left and then click on Evelopes and Labels - the address from your document will be filled in. In this new one, it is not filling in from the document (Word 2003) - any ideas why????

It still works in 2003, but it has always been a bit finicky about what
constitutes an address, and I suspect it has to do with a preference US
pattern addresses.

It will, however transfer the address to the envelope wizard if you select
the address first. Note that any manual formatting of the letter address
will override the style setting of the envelope address.
