Hi,

I love when I start to type in a recipient address that after a couple of
characters the email address will pop up in a drop dwon for me to select from
..... saving me from having to hit the TO button and then pick from global
Address Book or my own contacts......

well every once in a while that convienant drop down selection list stops
presenting itself....and I must start using the TO button again. After a
week or two of mailing my favorite folks that drop dwon list will again
present tiself when I am entering the address of the intended recipient...

so why does this convienant dropdonw stop presenting itself...and what can
I study up on to understand whatthis feature and what can affect it

You most likely have a corrupt profile that is not able to maintain its
connection to its autocompletion cache. Create a new profile from scratch.

Thank you for responding...............when you say "profile" do you mena
the actual email account or the files that acutally make up the users
windows profile (I.E. documents and settings \username ...all those folders
?)

thanks
