address box to messages

Currently, I want to be able to click on the names within my address book and
have the new message window appear. It will not presently do this. Any
suggestions?
 
What address book? How do you get to it? The main reason I ask is because
(as far as I know) Windows Mail does not use the term address book.
 
And if you right-click on a contact in Windows Contacts folder...?
