Address Book

I am using Outlook 07. I have an outlook express address book and would
like to use those email addresses, but I do not want them added to my
contacts. As far as I can tell, I can only import into my contact list.
Any way to add just the address book?
thanks

I'm assuming you mean you have a WAB file. Outlook can make no use of that
file and cannot import it. If you have WIndows XP, however, you can
configure Outlook Express to recognize that file and then use Outlook's
File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail and Addresses to pull the data
from Outlook Express.

As I don't have Vista, I don't know if you can configure Windows Contacts to
use the WAB or if you can import the WAB into Windows Contacts. If you can,
then I suspect Outlook will import from there as well.

Hi Brian
thanks. To clarify, I am using win xp and outlook 07 at home. I have an
outlook express wab file. outlook does offer to import the account from
Outlook express, but dumps all those addresses into my contact list. I
would prefer to just use a seperate address book. I see in outlook that it
is able to have more than one address book,. but don't know how to set that
up.

I'll say it one more time: Outlook cannot make use of a WAB file. Period.
The only way you'll get the data into Outlook is through Outlook Express.
