Address Book - Show Names from the: Contacts book

G'Mornin'!

How can I setup my Outlook to default to the "Contacts" address book when I
click on the Address Book icon? Right now, it defaults to the GAL.

Open your address book and go to tools, then choose how to sort your address
books there. You didn't say what version of Outlook you were using so I went
middle of the road, your steps may have to be slightly different depending on
your Outlook version.
