Address Book search yields irrelevant results

When I search the address book on (say) the Title field, and enter 'Taxonomy'
I would expect to see one or two results. Instead I get too many results to
show, none of which have 'Taxonomy' in the Title field.

The same thing happens when I search the Department field, or the Company
field (search for 'Entirenet' - a valid entry)

The only searches that appear to work are for strings at the _beginning_ of
the following fields: Name, alias, office.

Am I the only user who finds this frustrating? What can be done to improve
it?

Since Outlook does not even store information in an address book, you'll
need to clarify your question. Outlook version, information store and search
methods would be helpful information to have as well.

You'll need to ask in an Exchange group then.
