Address Bar

When I type a URL into the address bar it doesn't work or
it takes forever to reach the site.
 
If you mean you enter "www.yahoo.com" it takes several
seconds ie. up to 20 before it changes it
to "http://www.yahoo.com". Then it goes to the site. I
am experianceing the same issue. Used to work, but now it
takes forever to resolve...... Anyone got some ideas?
 
I am having the same issue. I ran adaware and S&D spybot -
still broke. Any other ideas on this??? thank you.
