address bar

is there a way that i can prevent the address bar from
finishing a web site address that i am typing in? i go to
enter one and it trys to guess where i want to go. is
there a way to turn this off? thanks for your help
 
Go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced. Scroll down till
you read an option "Use Inline Autocomplete" (under
Browsing Section). Unclick/OK
