address bar went blank

Recently the address bar doesnt retain any history of typed in URLs. The
history works and is set to three days. I cant find a setting for this, is
there possibly a registry entry that has gotten corrupted? Thanks

I suspect that your Index is corrupt. Remove it and a new one will be
created.

Delete/Empty Temporary Internet Cache completely
