Dave

I recently deleted a trojan/virus on my system using the
help of a program and through my registry. The Problem
that I'm having now is that I HAVE TO include typing
http:// all the time in the addressbar whereas before i
could type "yahoo.com" and it would automatically go
to "http://yahoo.com". Can someone PLEASE help!?

Dave,

Reset Search using this fix: (Resets the default prefix as well)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/RestoreSearch2.REG

[Spyware removers - This part not to be skipped]
Lavasoft Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
SpyBot S&D - http://www.safer-networking.org/
(Spyware removers are rules-based and are updated very frequently as and when new malware is discovered. Therefore, update both of these tools before scanning, very important)
