Address Bar is Missing

I'm not sure what happened, or what I may have done, but I
am no longer able to see the Address Bar when I open my
Internet Explorer. I can see the tab named "Address", but
it's "greyed out" such that nothing happens when
selected.

Anyone got any idea's. I've tried checking the settings
(Internet Options), and Help but so far no luck in finding
an explanation.

By "tab" do you mean you can see a little of the Address Bar?
If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

Check these out.

Close all instances of Internet Explorer except one
Right-click on the top Toolbar, uncheck: "Lock the Toolbars"
Place the cursor over the "Address" button and click (hold down)
It will change to a 4-way arrow, move or expand the Address Bar to desired
location
Right-click on the top Toolbar, check: "Lock the Toolbars"
Hold down the Ctrl key and close Internet Explorer.

Confirm these default Registry entries exist:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Show_ToolBar"="yes"
"Show_URLinStatusBar"="yes"
"Show_URLToolBar"="yes"

In Internet Explorer Menu: Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab
Scroll down half way to:
Search from the address bar...
When searching.... select a mode.
Click Apply.
