Is there anyone who can tell me how to get rid of previously viewed web sites on the address bar? Internet options- delete history does not work nor does line 101 on that tips site. Is there anything on the Internet options advanced choices that can be changed? Why oh why did I upgrade to XP" I cannot even delete old postings, or files because it didn't know the program it came from. WHO CARES???

Hi,

Start/run regedit, navigate here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Delete the strings in the right pane that correspond to the unwanted
entries.

To stop the saving, disable autocomplete on the content tab of Internet
Options.

Place your cursor over the nice green Start button and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Clear > OK

System Security Suite (3S) is a program designed to remove internet tracks
and junk files from your computer. It allows you to delete Cookies,
clear Internet Explorer Cache, delete index.dat Files, clear Typed URLs,
Windows Temp Folder and much more.
