What are the methods you've tried so far? Here are the workarounds for this problem:
From Alan Edwards: <quote>
If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.
Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in View-Toolbars. <quote>
2. Reset the Toolbar layout using this fix:

The address bar has vanished in IE6, have applied
known fixes from MS Knowledge base including editing
the registry key but has not worked. Will appreciate
any other suggestions as to possible cause and/or
remedy,
