address bar disappeared

hm. the address bar from IE seems to have disappeared ... checking view ->
toolbars -> address bar does not make it return ... what gives? using xp
pro

Glad you solved your problem. I had the same problem. I found my toolbars
at the top had somehow gotten compressed vertically and the URL window was
one of the items without room to be displayed. I clicked and dragged the
bottom of the upper menu area downward and the missing items then appeared.
I was able then to drag the bottom upwards to reduce the number of lines
being used by the menu area. If you ever have the problem again you could
try this method.
