Address AutoComplete in Outlook 2000

Kuchhal

Hi All,

I just moved on to Outlook 2000 from Express. I am looking
for help in AutoComplete in Addresses. I have tried every
option in the O2K options but could not find that
particular option. So if anybody knows about this feature,
& if in anyway this could be solved for good, then PLEASE
let me know ASAP. I am fed up of filling in the E-mail ids
manually., so if someone helps me in solving this mystery
for me, I would be really grateful.

Thanks.

Cheers...

Outlook doesn't do auto-complete. It has a feature called auto-resolution.
If you enter part of a name or a nickname then tab out of the field (or hit
Alt-K [Check Names]), Outlook will attempt to resolve the name against your
address book. If it can't it'll red underline it and you can right click on
the name to manually resolve it. Outlook will save the resolution for future
use.

Outlook 2000 does not have auto-complete feature as stated. However, OL
2002 (XP) and 2003 do have both auto complete and autoresolution. However,
since you are using OL2000 you're stuck with the limited functionality.
