How do I import new letter fonts I find online so that I can use them while
typing in Word?

You don't "import" fonts into Word. You install them in Windows, and Word
uses whatever Windows has available.

Go to the folder C:\Windows\Fonts, and click the File > Install New Fonts
menu item. In the dialog, locate the folder where you put the .ttf files
(unzip them if they were downloaded as zip files), and click Select All and
then OK.

Even easier: download the fonts to wherever it's convenient to store
them, unZip if necessary, then right-click on the name and choose
Install.
