Additional DC

I have a single site W2K Domain with a single Domain
Controller running Active Directory Integrated DNS. I want
to add at least one more Domain Controller and DNS Server.
We have a small user base (less than 100 users). I have a
W2K member server that does nothing but perform nightly
backups that would fit the bill perfectly. What would be
the best way to accomplish my task.

Hi,

run DCPROMO on the Member Server. But first check if there are any local
accounts that you need (service accounts maybe).
After this you can install the DNS Service on the new DC. If the Zone is AD
integrated the DNS will read the zone informations from the AD.

Can I also recommend to distribute the FSMO roles seeing as you know have
more than 1 DC.
