adding workstation to domain

Hi All,

I have windows 2000 server with Active directory installed and some 200 odd
workstation added to domain.... Now a days i am experincing a problem..

Problem...
The workstation is not getting logged into domain... and says domain not
available.. this happens all of sudden in a good working system, and it also
happens some times if i restart a system...

solution..

I need to log into local system and add it to workgroup and restart and then
again log in to local system and add to domain.. the system work fine..


Have any one faced this issue.???


Pls let me thesolution.

Sounds like you have name resolution problems that are stopping your
machines from keeping their NETLOGON secure channel passwords in sync with
the DCs.

Otherwise, perhaps you are powering systems off for extended periods of
time?

Either way, you need to investigate the event log and userenv.log on the
systems in question. Cross ref. the events in the application and system
log with www.eventid.net and feel free to post those, and snippets of
%systemroot%\debug\usermode\userenv.log here for some of us to help.
